About Touch For Health
Touch For Health is a melding together of modern western techniques and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is the foundation stone of all branches of Kinesiology. Based on chiropractic principles, it offers a simple but powerful tool to help maintain health and well-being and restore emotional, physical and biochemical balance to the individual.
TFH balances the systems of the body by monitoring the energy flow in the meridians. This is done by muscle testing the muscles associated with each meridian. Where we find an imbalance we correct it using a range of simple but effective techniques such as rubbing or holding points on the body, tracing the meridians, or offering strengthening foods.
Restoring balance in this way can have wide ranging physical, mental and emotional benefits, as described on the Kinesiology page.
Prerequisite: No experience required
This course is suitable for anyone interested in improving their health and well-being. It is also a prerequisite for those wishing to gain practitioner status in TFH, and is certified by the International Kinesiology College in Australia, (certificates recognized worldwide). TFH is an ideal adjunct to any therapist's toolkit, easily integrated into any practice.
TFH 1 gives a good grounding in the art of accurate muscle testing and how to use it effectively to optimize physical, mental and emotional health, improve concentration, energy and vitality, manage stress in all areas of life, improve posture, relieve pain and tension, improve co-ordination, reading and writing, improve performance.
